Amar H. Mistry, DDS

 Lead Dentist at Mount Vernon Dental Group

Hi, I’m Dr. Amar Mistry and I’m excited to welcome you to Mount Vernon Dental Group. Originally from Southwest Ontario, Canada, I completed my undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in Nutrition Sciences before earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy. I also completed a 1-year advanced general dentistry residency in Portland, Maine, where I gained valuable experience treating more complex cases.

For the past 6 years, I practiced in Dayton, Ohio, where I was dedicated to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient base. During this time, I further honed my skills through advanced training at the prestigious Kois Center and Engel Institute, equipping me with the expertise to provide top-tier care using the latest dental techniques in comprehensive dental care. 

In 2023, my wife and I relocated to the Atlanta area with our son to be closer to family. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, exploring new Atlanta restaurants, traveling and cheering on Michigan State athletics—Go Green!
